Responsibilities Essential Functions: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Create, implement, deliver and maintain safety programs that will reduce or minimize the property's exposure to risk.
Coordinates and aligns company risk management strategies with personal and property goals and objectives. Conducts regular programmed safety inspections for the purpose of hazard identification and fire and life safety audits. Ensures that the property is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration codes and regulations.
Oversees team member safety committees and safety awareness/promotion campaigns. Forecasts and projects all risk costs and allocations for the property develops, implements, and trains team member safety programs. Interfaces and coordinates with third party administrators, claims adjusters, and defense counsel on all litigated claims.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the administration of the reporting, investigation, and settlement of property casualty claims.
